Pre booking excursions

On our cruise you could cancel an excursion 24 hours in advance, but generally, if you had an 8 AM departure, you'd want to cancel 2 days in advance rather than chance missing the 8AM cutoff the day before your departure time.

Best to check each excursion once you board, since possibly different ones have different cutoff times??

I tell people to cancel 48 hours in advance because it can get a bit tricky. The offical policy states, "To avoid cancellation penalties, the Travel Concierge Desk should be notified prior to the closing deadline, which is 12:00 noon the day before the tour departs."

So lets say you have a tour departure set for 1:30 pm the following day. You decide to cancel at 1:00 pm. Though it is over 24 hours until the tour departs you still have officially missed the cut off time.

Either go by a 48 hour cancellation or know the policy well. ;)
