wework2play Posted March 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2013 We were booked on Triumph, so now we are looking at elation. We are taking our 3 kids, so I'm wondering if they may actually like the "waterworks" better than the pools on the triumph. I can't find much info on the Elation, though. Can anyone tell me more about it? What's the "waterworks" consist of? TIA!
spencercoop Posted March 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2013 The Elation does not have a Waterworks park. It has one water slide that empties into the main pool.
mzloolue Posted March 19, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Elation does not have the waterworks, does it? But it does have breakfast and lunch, which is a good thing :) I don't want no funny boy brunch for sure!
wework2play Posted March 19, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted March 19, 2013 I read somewhere that elation has a waterpark/kids pool, so I assumed it was waterworks. Hmm. Thanks guys.

Almost Packed Posted March 19, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Despite what some CCL reps will tell you, Elation DOES NOT have waterworks. I called and booked a cruise and the rep told me it did....nope, does not. And the slide does empty in to the pool as oppose to just ending so the kids will need to know how to swim. Sargent_Schultz Posted March 19, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 19, 2013 I like the slide on Elation because it DOES dump you into the pool. Also have to be a little taller to use because of it - 48". I posted LOTS of pictures of Carnival Elation in this picture review from a Feb 2 cruise.: http://www.boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1782205
tropicaledrink Posted March 19, 2013 #8 Share Posted March 19, 2013 The Elation does have a children's pool though. No Children's pool. It used to be on Deck 9 aft, but has been converted to the Adult Only Serenity Deck. There are 2 pools - Lido and aft, on Deck 11. They are quite a bit smaller than the newer pools though. arpie05 Posted March 20, 2013 #9 Share Posted March 20, 2013 We spent nine days on her and my son was 15. He loved the ship! He asked to go on it instead of Waterworks! It has basketball!
