HMB1950 Posted June 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2005 this is the first cruise that my daughter will be 18 on and she was wondering about the disco. Is it full of mostly older people or people her age (18-23)? Also, what kinds of music do they play in there?

selucrey Posted June 13, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2005 The "crowd" is usually a cross-section of those on your sailing with a few crew mixed in. ie: Summer will be a little younger crowd and so forth. The music depends on the particular DJ and the patrons on a given night. Usually it is a good mix of 70's-90's with some current.
DaisyL Posted June 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2005 On the Legend last month the newsletter said after 11 PM the disco is for 16 yo and older. My son and GF (22 & 25 yo) checked it out, after 11 pm, and it was an under 21 crowd, and they were playing what that crowd liked (I think it was dancing 'techno' type that's popular now - what do I know for an old 'fogey' ;) ) . But I'm sure the age/music mix could change on any given cruise or night ....
