curtdesilets Posted March 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2013 We are sailing the Regatta July 5th and were offered a $399 unlimited shore excursions package for 2. Sounds like a great deal, but according to what I've read, a lot of those excursions are already booked or sold out. Would it be too late and unwise to buy it now? How do we go about booking those excursion after we say yes to the excursion package? Do we have to wait for final payment, or can we reserve right now? Any help would be great. This is our first time on Oceania.

This is our first time on Oceania. You pay for the Excursion Package when you reserve the Excursion Package (not at final payment), so you will be able to start signing up for Tours immediately. You have left it rather late to plan excursions, but you will experience the same thing booking privately (the better Guides and Tours will likely be spoken for by now), so I would be inclined to take a chance on the Oceania "deal". To tell the truth, we have stumbled into some fabulous Tours over the years when the Tour that we thought that we wanted was sold out. Whatever you decide, enjoy every minute and have a wonderful Cruise! :D
