Water temp/air temp

Recommended Posts

How are the water and air temps in St Thomas/St John mid - late November. I am not a cool water person and we are thinking about booking a snorkeling excursion. Thanks for your input

You can get that info on this web site:

St. Thomas is not listed, but the air and water temps would be around the same as Puerto Rico's and that of the British Virgin Islands: upper 70's to lower 80's.

Ive been to several areas of the Carribean. The ocean is around 80 degrees. Its very warm. You can get some cooler currents while snorkeling. I can stay in for at least an hour without getting chilly,,sometimes much longer. The temperature is very consistent...HOT! over 80 most of the time.

Thanks for the website and for the info. I feel better now. Can handle 80!!! I'm from Buffalo, you'd think I would be a little hardier!
