Drury Hotel - New Orleans

Don't know about the Coke or Pepsi but we have stayed there twice before cruising. It's a very nice motel with good staff. The breakfast is great and the evening "snacks" are good too. It's within easy walking distance of the French Quarter. We wanted to stay there again this February but it was during Mardi Gras so rooms were limited and very expensive. There is a nice pool and hot tub on the roof. In the morning you can see the ships at the terminal if you go to the pool area or fitness room. The ships are somewhat in the distance but you can see them

I was there the other day and the answer is PEPSI....Yucky!!!

On the bright side, it is a very nice hotel in a great location. Them Drury hotels will feed you till you pop, with a full breakfast and an evening kickback.

The GM Slade and AGM Jacque will treat you right.

Thanks for the info. We aren't Pepsi fans either but that seems the norm when traveling anymore. We almost have to go out of our way to find Coke products.

Can anyone comment on room size (doubles) and how far it is to the trolley line and/or how long it takes walking to get to the French Quarter? Thanks!

The St. Charles street car is next to the Drury. At the most it is a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter. We've done both when staying there. In my opinion you can't go wrong with this location. If you are driving they had a park and cruise deal in the past. They had stopped that when they were doing some construction work. If you are driving it might be a good idea to call and ask them if they are doing it again.
