Young Children in St. Thomas - we will have a toddler and an infant with us in June.

Perhaps an excursion to one of the beaches might be nice. The water is calm for the most part and your toddler should enjoy building sand castles and splashing around in the water.

Your infant will be happy no matter where you take him/her. After all, what can be better than spending time with mommy and daddy?

And if you *do* opt for the beach, make sure you have LOTS of industrial-strength sunscreen for the little ones. Apply much, apply often.

Perhaps something else as well. Watch this space.

 • 5 months later...
We took a safari cab to Blue Beard's beach/resort($5 for all of us after bargaining). Had wonderful calm water with plenty of palm trees, lots of shade, and hammocks. It was quiet there with lots of room and a beautiful beach. We easily found a beach chair and there was a bar and restaurant there as well. Our nine month old daughter absolutely loved it. She had a 2 hour nap in the hammock(in the shade) as we sipped Caribbean cocktails. I reccommend picking up a copy of Frommer's Ports of Call for other places. Thats where we found this beach!! We found that book an extremely helpful resource when travelling with a little one. Have fun!
