jkhammy Posted March 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2013 Hi! Trying to plan a family cruise for Dec 2014. Just wondering if Carnival is the only cruise line offering an "early saver" or "price drop protection" plan/booking?
Rare Tapi Posted March 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 22, 2013 Thankfully yes (considering all the hoops of fire, fine print, hidden penalties, and loopholes associated with it). :o Keep in mind that most other cruise lines will allow price drop protection and penalty free cancellations up until the final payment date (60-75 days priory to sailing). After final payment, you are still allowed to take advantage of complimentary upgrades as well should your price drop. Do check individual rates and cruise lines for their specific fine print. boaterette Posted March 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2013 Ncl offers OBC if you book so many months in advance. I think it is nine months. You might want to ask this question on the other boards.
taszmom Posted March 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2013 Princess and HAL offer early booking discounts. None of the other cruise lines besides CCL offer price protection after final.
