Sunshine July 19 - baggage drop off at terminal

We are arriving in Barcelona around 6:00 p.m. on the 18th. We hope to take in a Flamenco in the evening but really would like to see a bit of the city before we board on the 19th. We are wondering if anyone knows how early we can check our baggage at the cruise terminal on the 19th because we would like to do a Hop on Hop off tour to see some of the city before we sail. Does anyone have a suggestion?
