Temperatures at Christmas

Recommended Posts

Just got off the Navigator a few weeks ago and need to start planning our next cruise. We were thinking of doing a cruise over Xmas '06. Looking at the Mariner 12/24/06 sailing. The 2nd day is Coco Cay. I was wondering what the air and ocean temps will be like at that time of year. Will it be warm enough to swim?

The holiday cruises are naturally more expensive and we want to make sure we will enjoy all the cruise has to offer. We are trying to convince the entire family (grandparents, parents, kids, grand kids) so it is an important and $$ trip.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

We did the New Year's Eve 2003 Sovereign Cruise to the Bahamas and Coco Cay.It was in the mid 80's both places and on Coco Cay we swam and sunbathed all day. The pool on deck was a bit chilly for my liking but I went in anyway. Walking around Nassau was TOO hot....we did a tour and headed back to the ship. I don't think their temp ever gets low.

Christmas on the beach? Oh yeah......:)
