Just saw on the Port of Miami's facebook page, Carnival Breeze pulled a U turn, and is heading towards Key West, what's that all about?

I saw that too and headed here for more information. Guess we don't know yet huh? I did look at Cruise Timetables and she wasn't scheduled to be there today. Medical emergency maybe?

Carnival has canceled Grand Turk as a port of call until the problem with people getting sick has been taken care of. Some cruises are going to Key West instead. I would rather have another sea day. It should be over by the time we sail. I hope!

Ahhhhh. That makes sense. I just saw that explanation posted on Port of Miami's FB page too. Norovirus-nothing to mess with-sounds like a good move on Carnivals part.

My wife asked Carnival on their facebook page, and they responded:

"Due to Urgent Medical reasons the Breeze was heading to Key West. There was also heavy rains that moved in and it was delayed arrival by 1 hour. That was the last update."

I love Key West. Would take it anyday over Grand Turk.

Well, lets hope that whoever is ill or in need of medical treatment, gets better soon. And let's hope it wasn't due to accident onboard ship.
