Family or Regular Balcony on NCL Breakaway.

According to NCL's description of the "family" staterooms they only offer the following.

1) Close prox to the kids camp area

2) Bathtub in room

Besides those two, does any have any first hand ex. with NCL's family cabins on thier newer ship's. Because we dont mind having to walk & the bathtub is no big deal when you have kids who shower.

any thoughts

:D

If square footage is equal and the regular balcony will sleep your party size, then go with that and choose the location you like. I would think the biggest difference would be that the family cabins would sleep more people.

On the Epic, all of the balconies on 14 are considered Family Balconies. Some are connected, some not. Some sleep 3 and some sleep 4. I think in that case it's about location. My guess is the Breakaway will be the same, but just a guess without looking at the plans.

One thing to note, all connecting rooms are "family" on the Epic, but not all family are connecting. So if you're looking for connecting rooms you would be immediately in that category.
