BW0727 Posted June 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2005 I am traveling with someone that will only be 16 at the of my sailing and she was wondering what types of activities there will be on board that she could participate in. Also what type of deck parties will there be that will be suitable for her. Any other information on this would be greatly appreciated.
momof4boys Posted June 14, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2005 I hear the teen disco is a big hit. Karaoke (sp???) is also fun! They also have a special teeen program on board. I plan to have my teens go and at least find out what is available. I will be traveling with two 16yos, 19 yo, 22 yo, and a 12! I know they will have fun.:)
Gingee Posted June 14, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2005 Make sure your daughter goes to the first night get together. That is where they meet. They do organized events and events they create on their own.

GraduationVacation Posted June 14, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 14, 2005 We were on Victory June 5. Here's a sampling of the "Teen Scene ages 15-17" activities. Many actually included ages 12-17 which my son thought was too young a crowd (he's 15). We had 8:00 dinner seating so on Day 1 he had to skip dessert to run to the meet and greet. The names of some activities were: table tennis tournament, iron man/woman challenge, signature hunt, mummy wrapping, game show, roomer, tangled up. Day 1: 9:30 Meet your host and fellow cruisers Day 2: (sea day) various activities at 1:00, 3:00, 3:30, 9:15, 10:30 Day 3: 11:45 p.m. Truth or Dare Day 4: (sea day) activities at 12:30, 2:00, 9:30, 10:30 Day 5: 9:30p.m. disco, 11:00 p.m. Battle of the Sexes Day 6: 3:30 game show, 9:30 dance party (ages 12-17), 10:30 dance party (ages 15-17) Day 7: 12:00, 2:00, 3:00, 9:30, 10:45 Enjoy! Thank You So much for the info. It sounds like there will be lots to do and she should not be bored or feel left out, which was her main concern.
