My first CCL price drop and pleasantly surprised by customer service

I booked last week under the Friends & Family sale for past guests and didn't expect the rate to change while the sale was still going, but apparently today is my lucky day! It dropped $30 pp. I was dreading calling Carnival since I've read so much on here about the crazy wait times and the goof-ups in the adjustments. Much to my surprise, I was able to get through to someone in about 10 minutes and they took care of it right away. From what I can see in my Cruise Manager, no other crazy changes were made ;)

Just wanted throw a positive experience into the mix here...every now and then, they get something right :)

I had 2 price drops on the Friends and Family sale. Ended up with a balcony cabin on the Lido deck for $20 less per person than the inside I started out with on deck 2. I had to wait, but in my opinion it was well worth it. Each time I called the reps were very friendly and accomodating. Came back on the phone every 5 min. or so to let me know they were still working on my reservation.
