icon_smile.gifWow Rocktheboat, we were in that same exact cabin! When were you there? Did you have Cris as your butler? It is just so freaky to see people that have the same room you had.

We were on the Costa Med cabin 6176 week of April 4 and the Costa Atlantica April 11 cabin 6176. We did back to back Costa. They have a great half price deal if you do back to back.

Since the Med was going back to Italy on the 11 they let us do one week 1 ship next week the other ship. So you got off and we got on.

I see you were also on the Inspiration, What didn t you like . We thought it was a nice older ship. Thought the food on Carnival was great. We were in cabin U166.

We went on our honeymoon on the Inspiration and there were over 900 unsupervised children on board, and they were soooo obnoxious. And carnival did not do one thing special for us seeing that it was our honeymoon. My husband booked the cruise as a surprise and I was happy until the first night I was woke up 4 times by kids running down the hall, beating on all of the doors and when we called the fronnt desk they said "oh well there are more of them than us,you aren't the first people to complain" That really irritated me, as well as the fact that my husbands (you notice I don't say our) ex-travel agent tried to steer him away from any cruiseline except for Carnival. I loved Costa and we are going again in Janurary.

That's the way I felt about the Costa Med. Alot of out of control teens and no parents in sight. Complained to the desk and was told "we are aware of the teen problem".

I am all for families cruising together, just not for parents who allow their children to do whatever they want. We always cruise during school breaks and never saw anything like this.

We try to cruise atleast 3-4 times a year, and Costa had great prices. Am looking at their New Years cruise, but not sure we want to take a chance on Costa again.

We had a totally different experience on the Atlantica Easter week. There were a lot of kids, but they were well behaved. I have heard from others that Holiday weeks are a lot different on the western than eastern. My son has the entire first week of Janurary off this year so we are going on vacation on the off season. Hopefully the ship will be virtually empty.
