Broch Posted March 31, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2013 We will be on the Liberty in July with our two grandchildren. Has anyone taken their young children to the show Saturday night fever and enjoyed it. I know how children can get board if they do not like shows but as my children love music I am hoping that there is enough music to hold their attention and not get restless and annoy other guests, as I believe that the show lasts for 90 minutes

You could always take them and sit on the end of a row so that if they do get bored you can leave without disturbing people. It'd be a shame to not try and miss it
Cigar City Nole Posted April 1, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 1, 2013 we were supposed to go to that show this past week at 9:30 on our last night .... my 8 yr old was WIPED OUT during dinner at 7:30 so we never made it We packed A LOT into our 5 day cruise and wasn't heartbroken that I got to spend the last night watching NCAA hoops in the Connosuer Bar with a stogie and good company while the wife & kid got their rest
ctcruiser1721 Posted April 1, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2013 I would suggest planning on leaving them in AO during the show. They are not likely to understand the adult theme and, quite honestly, I found the whole production painful to sit through. Many people left early. My MIL and DH found it equally disappointing. I have heard quite a few folks on CC say they enjoyed the show but, unfortunately, that was not my experience. And I truly find it difficult to believe that any kids that age would enjoy it either. This is what I would be afraid of. I saw it a few years ago in the theatre and there was a lot of long acting parts. Was just wondering if RCCL's production was the same
