Has anyone every done the wine package on board the royal caribbean ships? How does it work? Do you choose which bottles you want or do you just ask for a glass or two with your dinner?:confused:

The wine package allows you to pre-order a certain number of bottles from their Wine & Dine list at a discount of up to 25% (depending on the value of the wines chosen).

 

When you sit down for dinner at one of the restaurants (main dining room or other specialty restaurant), the waiter will present the Wine & Dine menu for you to select a bottle. You do have to order a whole bottle, but you can have some of the bottle one night and save the rest for subsequent dining or take the bottle with you after dinner. You can also order unopened bottles from the restaurant with you to enjoy elsewhere on the ship.

 

After my last cruise, I had a bottle left over in the Wine & Dine package, so I now have it here at home, waiting to enjoy over memories of the cruise. :)

And, you can pick whatever bottle(s) you want from the package. You can try them all, or you can select the same one each night if that's what you want. The waiters have no problem with corking any unfinished bottles to use the next night.
