Thanksgiving Cruise - Century

Recommended Posts

My wife and I are booked on the 21 Nov Century cruise to Hawaii out of San Diego. I'm already following the roll call, but have a question about the popularity of cruising during a holiday. I've been reading in various threads about how crowded Thanksgiving and Christmas cruises can be, and was just curious as to what to expect. We're celebrating both of our 50th b'days this year, and assumed this would be a more 'seasoned' (how's that for politically correct? :)) crowd.

Been cruising for years, but just found this CC board this year. Thanks in advance, and I absolutely love this website!

We sailed on the Century last Thanksgiving. It was not crowded. There were very few children.

I don't think the crowding applies to most cruises that sail for two full weeks plus a couple of days into the third.
