Can you rent a boat/driver?

When we were last in Nassau, we ventured into the information center, (or wherever we were - big building close to pier as I recall)..... anyway we were looking to go reef snorkeling and found a guy with a boat and he took the 4 of us out for about 4 hours. I think he charges us about $70 and we had a wonderful time. Course it took some motivation, prayers and a push from the hubby to get me off the boat right into water. :)

Does anyone know if I'd still have luck doing this?

And we may not even dock here. Our Turks and Caicos port is in question for next week and I hear Nassau would be the option.
