SuperGrace2002 Posted April 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2013 What is the current price for the soda package card for Childern & Adults? We will be on the Magic in May Thanks for your help. :) Carnival Cruise Lines will offer all guests the option to purchase a “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program which will allow the guest unlimited soft drinks and juices for the duration of the cruise at a one-time purchase price. Prices are as follows – a 15% gratuity will be added. Child Rate Per Day $4.50 USD (17 years of age and younger) Adult Rate Per Day $6.00 USD (18 years of age and older) Upon purchasing the “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program, a sticker will be placed on the guest’s Sail & Sign card. “Bottomless Bubbles” can be purchased at the ship’s Casino Bar and Pool Bar. In all areas where beverage service is offered, guests may show the “Bottomless Bubbles” sticker and receive a glass of the carbonated soft drink of their choice. Juices may also be requested. One 16 ounce glass will be served at a time and only to the guest whose name appears on the Sail & Sign card with the “Bottomless Bubbles” sticker attached. The “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program is non-transferable and may not be shared. Guests or family members who would like to enjoy soft drinks through this program must purchase their own sticker. One beverage serving, per sticker, will be served at a time. Soft drink is served by the glass (16 ounces); juice is served by the glass (10 ounces). The program cannot be used through room service or the Interactive TV system, where applicable, or the minibar, where applicable. Beau222 Posted April 5, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2013 We made the mistake once of purchasing the soda card (back when it was an actual card) right when we got onboard the Legend. The reason it was a mistake is that they charge an actual sales tax when you are docked. We should have waited till later.

Yep if you wait til the ship leaves port you could save $3.00:) Bill
luvsviola Posted April 5, 2013 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2013 How far out to sea do you need to be before the sales tax is lifted?
S.S.Oceanlover Posted April 5, 2013 #7 Share Posted April 5, 2013 How far out to sea do you need to be before the sales tax is lifted? 3 MILES. I'm on by noon and the ship leaves at 4pm so I could drink about 3 sodas in that time so for me personally I wouldn't save anything. I'm quite frugal but after spending all that money for a cruise and getting there I'm not going to worry about the tax. Also any mixed drink you buy before the ship leaves is taxed also. For people with a lot of soda cards to buy it would definitely be worth it for them to wait.:) Bill
luvsviola Posted April 5, 2013 #8 Share Posted April 5, 2013 Thanks. I'm buying 5, so we can drink lemonade for lunch the first day, and carry on some sodas for the cabin.
