Looking for Taino Beach Info

Has anyone been to Taino Beach recently? Was the beach relaxing and the water clear and calm? Do you know the cost of a taxi from the pier to Taino Beach? Any information you can give me will certainly help alot!!!!

We actually just got home from the Bahamas and Did an Impromptu beach visit to Taino/Junkanoo beach. Loved it. Beautiful setting. Water was nice. Dropped off pretty quickly though. Within 30 feet from the shore by the Pier, you were over your head. Outdoor shower and some changing facilities as well. Taxi from the pier was 7.00 each way. Plus the taxi driver gave a lot of info about the area on the drive. Very fun. :) Has a Bar, but neither myself nor anyone in my family Drink so I can't comment on it. But I highly reccomend. Don't book through Carnival or any other cruise line though. You'll crazy overpay. Just hop on the taxi off the Pier and your good.. :) hope this helps..

Totally agree. We did this exact thing in March. Very beautiful beach and a relaxing day.
