My husband, my son and I are sailing on the Conquest July 10th, can't wait! What do you all recommend as the best form of bringing spending money, cash, travelers checks or just using a credit card, and are they all accepted in all ports? Thanks in advance, we have learned so much on these boards:)

We always take some cash and credit cards and debit card. I have taken travel checks in the past and cashed them on the ship and this has worked well. ( I am always nervous about taking too much cash with me.) You can always use your debit card to get cash from the money machine on the ship (5.00 fee) and they will cash checks - I think up to 200.00. We found that in port the nicer shops and restaurants will take CC but for the market places, etc. you will want cash.
