Purchasing Sparkling Wine & GF Beer at Cruise Pier

Hello! I am not much of a wine drinker, but love Mimosas, so I am thrilled that I can bring on 2 bottles (bf doesnt drink wine, period, so I get his!). Does anyone know if I can find cheap bubbly at the wine shop at the pier?? Also, I am staying in Rio Grande and have a rental car, so I can stop anywhere, if that would be better??

 

And, I have also read, that I can get my two bottles, check in, get back off the ship (which we plan to do to head over to Senor Frogs for a bit) and then buy two more bottles and bring them on. Anyone have any luck with this? Any precautions in doing this? I dont want to get in trouble.

 

Also, will I need to purchase OJ, or can I purchase OJ, or can I get this from room service (Carnival Valor)?

 

AND I also get to bring on a six pack of GF beer w/ dr note. Any idea where I can buy this??
