parddr Posted April 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2013 Sorry for another question. When you are docked in Maui and Kauai i was noticing on google earth that we are docked next to the dock building. We are in B6 cabins located on deck 9. When docked are we higher than the buildings or staring right at them. Considering changing if they are dead in our face. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)
spacepotatoes Posted April 16, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2013 Here is the POA docked in Maui back in 2009: The terminal buildings aren't that tall so I think you'll be fine.
parddr Posted April 16, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted April 16, 2013 Thank u. Looks it it wouldnt be a problem. It might be nicer though to look out the other side. So confused as to whether we should change.
spacepotatoes Posted April 16, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2013 Port side is best on this itinerary. It provides the best view for the Na Pali sailby. Either way, it shouldn't matter what side faces the dock on such a port intensive itinerary since presumably, you'll be spending most of your time actually in port, no? Personally, I wouldn't change. rvsullivan Posted April 16, 2013 #5 Share Posted April 16, 2013 You can rarely tell in advance which side of the ship will face the dock.
