maryann ns Posted April 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2013 There are many, many threads on these two ports. Scroll down the Ports - Canada page to see some recent ones. Go to the top of the same page and look for the search feature to the right of the blue bar near the top of the page. For Halifax there is plenty to see within walking distance (wonderful harbourfront, Maritime Museum, Harbour Hopper tour, shops, restaurants, etc.) or you can go see Peggy's Cove, a famous, tiny, scenic fishing village. Do an internet search for toms port guides.
Acey-SJ Posted April 21, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2013 What should we not miss in St. John and Halifax? In Saint John the most popular excursion is walking the sea floor in St Martins. If you stay near ship the Old City Market is popular. If you are adventurous, there is zip lining or Jet Boat ride through the Reversing Falls rapids. 092306 Posted April 21, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2013 We went to Peggy's Cove and enjoyed it. We also did a bike riding tour in Halifax and got to see alot of the city and beautiful parks.
