Livorno Overnight

We are in port at Livorno overnight, so if I want to stay in Florence for dinner is there a time in which I have to be back on the ship?

 

Also, because I wouldnt be able to use the ship transfer back to Livorno, what is the best way to get to Florence and back to Livorno? Also, are you able to do the ship transfer one way?
