Buying wine for cruise

There is a CVC just a block or so from the Holiday Inn that carries some basic wines.

If you want something with more choice you could go to Publick's which is about a 20 minute walk each way.

I'm from NJ, is a CVC a drug/ grocery store, also selling wine?

Yes. Like a Walgreens. Not a lot of groceries, think small selection like a convenience store. But they usually have a decent number of inexpensive, brand name wines of the popular varieties. (Can't buy alcohol on Sunday mornings.)

See their web site for a typical weekely flyer. .cvs.com
