More like Grand Cayman or Jamaica?

Was wondering if St. Thomas/St. John is more like Grand Cayman or Jamaica or somewhere in between as far as safety and agressiveness of the locals goes? We went to Jamaica and everyone knows how it is there. We have also been to Grand Cayman and felt totally at ease - no agressive locals and felt extremely safe. Just wanted some opions. Thanks!

In between, but closer to Grand Cayman for your comparisons. There is a market area that has many vendors, but they were not extremely agressive.
