New To Carnival. Deck 6 hanging out over the Pomenade?

Am I mistaken about this? If so, are there some that are not. I just like regular ocean balconys, perhaps on either end maybe?

Dream, Magic and Breeze have the Lanai on Deck 5 that sticks out further than the balconies on Deck 6 and above. If you're looking to book one of those ships, you could look at the cove balconies which are below the Lanai, or it looks like near the aft (on the sides, not the aft-facing balconies) the Lanai narrows.

Those are the only three ships with the public deck sticking out further than the balconies; none of the other Carnival ships have the Lanai.
