Hey, We were there a few weeks ago on a cruise and did a tour with 4 other people ( 6 in all), in a lovely air conditioned van. It was ok! The views are beautiful. They take you to a church, botanical gardens and other places, but for me I wouldn't do it again. It was a Sunday and most everything is closed so thats why we did that.

December will be my first time porting in Martinique and I, too, am looking for suggestions. Anyone done a sailing, hiking or other excursions that would be a good group activity?

Just curious to know how much this tour cost? Did you arrange it prior or just once you were at the port.
