travel insurance

[WASUP]

Looked at Travel Guard for all 6 of us to be covered, under "essential expanded", it is 138.00, it covers the trip(cruise), we dont need airline as we live in Fort Lauderdale, it has 10,000 Medical and 100,000 evac.....we all have private health insurance. Does this coverage sound adequate?

Check to ensure that your health care does cover you outside of your Province/state no matter what. Then you will be fine.

silly me, it was 173 for each of us. that is a whopping amount of money...Can we just insure the adults? as if something were to happen to the child, the parent would certainly not go, whether or not the child was part of the cruise or the parents were going alone

I called Insuremytrip.com and spoke with someone and told them what we were looking for. I got insurance for me, DH, DD (20) and DS(6) who was free for $178 total. And it covers everything. Michelle

As I tell my friends; before purchasing travel insurance, make sure you don't already have it! Some credit cards provide coverage - mine does up to $400,000! My homeowners insurance also covers any lost or stolen items including luggage.
