bankofdad Posted June 21, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 21, 2005 My oldest son is twelve and recently went on his third cruise (all on Carnival). He had a great time on the first two participating in the kids' club, but not this time. He was on the younger end of the 12-14 year old group, went the first night and never wanted to go back after that. His comment was that they didn't have anything arranged that he couldn't do on his own or with me. His comments, not mine. However, take his comments for what they are - his humble opinion. Truth is, there's a big difference between a younger 12 y.o. and a 14 y.o. Not Carnival's fault, just the way it is IMHO. DD, 8y.o. loved the kids club, just as she has on her three other cruises.
