Serenade Alaska Dress Code

Recommended Posts

Can any recently returned cruisers tell me what the dress code was? RCI website lists 2 formal, 1 whatever-they-call-it-now, and the rest casual. Was this what is actually was or are there 5 casual nights. Thank you.

Directly from RCI's website...

7 to 9-night cruises include two formal nights, one smart casual night and four or six casual nights.

This was the case on our Serenade sailing, smart casual is more or less another casual night...

There were two formal night on our cruise. We were on the Vision June 3-10. The rest of the nights were casual. I'm not sure if it's because the ship was in Alaska but many people (including me) wore jeans to dinner on the casual nights.

Just got back from the Serenade 6/12/05 Alaska -

There were 2 Formal.....

1 Smart Casual.....

and the rest Casual.....

Smart Casual means a Sport Coat and Tie for gentlemen and a nice pant suit or skirt outfit for Ladies.

If you are planning on Chop's or Portofino's...They also call for Smart Casual.
