Just Back From Grandeur

Recommended Posts

I don't know about the beach @ Grand Bahamas given that there would be no point to go considering Coco Cay was the beach island we'd go to the following day or so. Also, my parents and I took the advice of several people to go shopping at the Bazaar or that other shopping area (which we ended up going to), I forget what it's called...K-something.

The taxi was $5 per person, we had 5 people...hence $25 plus $5 tip. On the way back, however, we had a different driver and he overcharged. We were so anxious to get back on the ship that we took it anyway. It totalled $75, not $80...but it's a slight miscalculation so doesn't matter.

About to go on the Grandeur to Bermuda. Can you tell me a little bit (first cruise) on customs and leaving the ship with your own luggage. We live in Annapolis and dont need our luggage ported for us, we will just take it and go. Is there customs in the terminal or do they come on the ship?
