Summary Review of VOS 9 night Sailing to Caribbean

We recently returned from the nine night VOS cruise from Port Libery (Bayone, NJ) to Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Caymans and Freeport on June 12th. I have included in Part I our overall impressions and final observations. For those of you who want more detailed information, read subsequent parts of the review separately posted or ask me any questions and I will try to answer them

 

Overall impression

 

This was our first time on RCCL. To be honest, I was originally skeptical about cruising with over 3000 passenger on a mega-ship. However after return from the most relaxing 10 days of my life, we can’t to our next cruise on VOS.

 

Final Observations

 

My DW and I had a wonderful anniversary cruise! We were in fact tempted to not get off the ship but continue on to Bermuda for another 5 days. VOS is a wonderful ship with lots to do, including a chance to win over $13,000, which one lucky passenger won at the last session of bingo.

 

Post script: We just booked the 7 day cruise on Zenith leaving 7/30/05 from Bayonne

WE LOOOOOOOOOOOOOve BERMUDA, ESPECIALLY THE BEACHES.

 

It will our 3rd cruise to Bermuda, where we honeymooned 28 years ago!
