Multiple Excursions on Port Day ? is it Possible

hello

 

I was wondering if you think its possible to do two excursions in port in Belize.

 

I would like to do Altun Ha Mayan Ruins in the morning and maybe do a beach trip to bannister island...or do them in reverse.

 

I want to see the Ruins, go to the beach and shop.. Is this at all possible or do you think I should try and stick to just one thing???

Unless your ship is in port a long time it would probably be difficult IMO..

Bannister is 4 hours , plus a little before and after, so you would cut it close ?

And you're probably looking at close to the same time frame for Altun HA; even with a separate private guide, you might only be able to cut it back to around 3 hours. Plus remember Belize City is a tender port. It's a 20 minute tender ride to the port. So even if you got on your ship's first tender it would be 9:30A at the earliest before you get to the pier. And for 5 PM departures, the ship's last tender leaves the pier around 4PM. So your 8 hour port day is really less than 7 hours to begin with.
