Docking in Athens?

I am lining all my little ducks up in a row and need to know exactly where Windstar docks near Athens, and how much would cab fare be from the port to our Athens hotel at the steps of the Acropolis. Any helpful answers appreciated! :o

p.s. Oh, and does anyone know how much cab fare is from a downtown Athens hotel to the airport, and how long of a drive it is?

Cab fare from a downtown hotel to the airport would be 40 Euro and if I recall, it takes about 35-40 minutes. There's a bus you can take as well, I want to think it's about 7 Euro per person--if you take it, mind your belongings.

 

Cab fare and time from the port to your hotel would be about the same.

If I recall correctly, the Athens port is fairly large and the bus does not drop you off right at the proper port entrance.

 

Would definitely consider taking the cab since you will probably have significant luggage.
