Hotels in Vancouver free parking

Recommended Posts

There are a few - in the West End, Sunset Inn & Suites and Tropicana Suites offer free parking; the HoJo and Best Western Uptown in Mount Pleasant (about 4km from Canada Place) are the next-closest, and the remainder are mostly in the suburbs, including near the airport.

NB: if you mean free parking while you're cruising, as opposed to staying in the hotel, then the answer is None - but some hotels do offer 'cruise & stay' packages which seem to work out to ballpark $10 a day for parking or less, cheaper than even the long-term Airport car park and certainly much less than the price to park at the pier.

To my knowledge there are no hotels in downtown Vancouver that offer free parking....parking in downtown can reach $30+/day...we suffer a major tax on parking spaces to subsidize transit.

There are a couple of motels over in North Vancouver that will sometimes offer free parking and they include the Best Western, Comfort Inn and North Vancouver Hotel (really a motel) but with these you are faced with some walking with your luggage and a transit bus then more walking to Canada Place or a $25/$30 cab ride each way.

Downtown hotels that offer stay, park and cruise packages include Best Western Downtown-Drake St., Hampton Inn and the Executive Vintage Park Inn. Close by in Vancouver's West End there is the Coast Plaza Hotel.

Accent Inns who operate two good suburban motel type properties in Richmond and Burnaby also offer a very good package.

The Sunset Inn and Suites DOES offer free secured parking for guest staying in the hotel. A great choice for a quiet hotel stay as well; spotless, full kitchens, and a staff that have been there for years. You may not leave your car there while you go on a cruise. The Best Western Sands on Davie at Denman will make parking arrangements for you while you are on a cruise, as long as you have either a pre or post cruise hotel stay.
