mcohen73 Posted May 28, 2013 Author #27 Share Posted May 28, 2013 Is there a shade or something in front of the bathtub to block the view from the balcony? I just looked at a pic of the tub area and it looks there may be a shade, but we never put it down. I remember a shade in the stand up shower which also has a window to the balcony. BTW - noone can see into the bathroom from another cabin. Thanks, Mike

I had read some other posts on CC and it was hinted around that they tub area may not be all that private, but if it's private from other cabins, then that's private enough LOL
Mom2B&Z Posted May 28, 2013 #29 Share Posted May 28, 2013 There is a drape between the bathroom and the bedroom. We would leave it open a little as it does get very dark in the room. There is room to walk around the couch to get to the balcony. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with. Thanks Mike Awesome, thanks for the information! The wait is killing me... English101 Posted May 28, 2013 #30 Share Posted May 28, 2013 Oh ok. I had read some other posts on CC and it was hinted around that they tub area may not be all that private, but if it's private from other cabins, then that's private enough LOL I was wondering the same. However, I've noticed that the s6's aft wall is angled towards the corner, slightly, and assumed this allows for more privacy. I did wonder if you can see into the bathroom windows from the balcony. lalise Posted June 11, 2013 #31 Share Posted June 11, 2013 I was in room 12308 aft balcony. The balcony was amazing. They give u 2 chaise lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs & a table. You can move the lounge chairs closer to the railing to get awesome sun. I did notice the 1st night this incredible thumping as I tried to sleep & realized it was the club up above us. It was a bit annoying but I'm pretty good at blocking things out. We had a few rainy days & rough seas coming back. VERY uncomfortable feeling being in the back of the ship. So much so that I was sick almost the whole day (I don't usually get sea sick). Also the room steward for that room was the worst I've ever had. The ship was beautiful. But I don't think I would book it again. I've sailed NCL 10x's and I think I'm more of a jewel class girl. I don't want to say that it's too expensive...it's a personal choice. When people go on vacation you can spend as much or as little as you choose. Some people save all year for vacation & others do not. Again- personal choice- hope everyone enjoys their vacation!
