Torched Cherry Sangria ???

We just returned from the Freedom and I had a delicious cocktail called the Torched Cherry Sangria. Does anyone have a copy of the drink menu that would have the ingredients? I know Bacardi had a Torched Cherry Rum and I'm guessing that's just mixed with a red sangria, but not sure if anything else was in there.

 

It was delicious and was hoping to make some this weekend if anyone can help me out!

We just got off Liberty last Monday (B2B for 9 nights) and I had the Torched Cherry Sangria. . . more than once!

 

Ellis took a 2 or 3 orange slices and 4 cherries and mashed them up in the bottom of the glass. (Muddled?)

 

Then he added (I think) a shot of Bacardi Torched Cherry Rum, a shot of Chambord, topped off with red wine. It was amazing.

 

I just bought the stuff to try making one tonight. One. It is a strong drink! :D

 

 

I googled and found this in a PDF from RCCL:

 

Torched Cherry Sangria

3 oz. Merlot

1/2 oz. Bacardi Torched Cherry rum

1/2 oz. Cointreau

3/4 oz. orange juice

1/2 oz. simple syrup

Top Sprite

Glass: Souvenir Hurricane/Linz Pilsner

Technique: Build

Garnish: Orange slice, lemon & lime wedges, cherry

 

That's not how Ellis made mine......but he did say he makes his different than some others.

Thanks for the recipe.....one of my favourite cruise drinks.:D And yes it's strong!!
