DDMau Posted May 31, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2013 I used my NCL points to reduce the fare on my August 2013 cruise. I had a $50 OBC when I booked my cruise in February then after I used the points in May before final payment, I noticed my OBC was gone. Do you lose OBC when using points to reduce your fare. rvsullivan Posted May 31, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2013 You sometimes lose your OBC when cancelling a booking to make a new booking. The rules/benefits in effect at the time you change your booking apply.
DDMau Posted May 31, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted May 31, 2013 What did NCL say when you called? I booked thru my TA so she will be calling them this morning. I know if I canceled and rebooked I would lose the OBC but I used the points on my existing booking nothing canceled or rebooked.
keystoneboarder Posted May 31, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 31, 2013 Redeeming World Points has nothing to do with any promo that got you OBC. Two completely different things.

That's how I see it, anyway it's back TA talked with NCL and someone took it as a change to the booking. It's good to have a TA working for you.
