Douro River

I have been reading all of the posts about the situation on the Danube and my heart goes out to everyone who has been affected. We are booked on our first river cruise with Uniworld on the Douro on June 27th. I know Portugal is not near Germany...its just a little bit of traveler anxiety about a new experience. I read a scathing review from April of a trip that turned into a bus tour due to flooding. I have not read anything recently about water levels on the Douro.

 

If anyone has any relevant and up to date information about the conditions on the Douro, I would appreciate it if you could share your experience. Or if you are on the Queen Isabel currently or returned recently, I would love to read a review :)
