runnerodb83 Posted June 7, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2013 Anyone stay in this room? It looks slightly larger than other insides on this deck and I'm wondering if its just a standard room with nothing different than any other inside cabin. Thanks. dorisis Posted June 8, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 8, 2013 An inside cabin on an Alaska cruise can be better than a balcony. You will get a much better view from the public decks than from a balcony cabin.

cubfan63 Posted June 9, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2013 I went to Google and searched Island Princess Plaza Deck P540. The result had this cruise blog from 2010 and included a few pictures of the cabin and noted that it had an L-shaped design. I noticed on the deck plan that the room does seem to be a little bigger as the "walls" seem wider than the cabins across the hall. Not sure if this link will be allowed to stay but here is the link: http://www.tinbergsontour.com/2010/05/thursday-april-29-2010-ft-lauderdale-fl.html?m=

Based on teh deckplans, it does look a bit larger, but after looking at the pictures, it looks like the same width (ie 2 twin beds and 2 end tables).
