We plan on staying at the Inn at the Market pre cruise.

Can we take the light rail to the end and then take a taxi to the hotel? What would the cost be?

How would we get from hotel to Pier 91 - taxi or shuttle (names of shuttle service please)? What would the cost be?

We plan on staying at the Mayflower post cruise.

How do we get from Pier 91 to this hotel - taxi or shuttle (names of shuttle service please)? What would the cost be?

We plan on using the light rail to get from the hotel to the airport the next day.

How much time should we leave to get from the hotel for a 11:30am International flight to Canada Labour Day Monday?

A taxi from Westlake, the last stop, to the Inn at the Market would probably be around $5, assuming you can find a cab. You need to go to a taxi stand or hotel. You could walk it in around 10 minutes.

A taxi from the Inn to Pier 91 will be around $15, and would be preferable. Same thing after the cruise; the Mayflower is just a couple of blocks from the Inn.

Leaving the Mayflower, assuming you want to check in at the airport around 10 AM, you'd want a train that arrives at the airport around 9:30 - 9:45, and from Westlake (next door to the Mayflower) it's 45 min. on the train, so you'd want an 8:45 - 9:00 train. Trains leave every 10 - 15 minutes (depending if they're using a holiday or Sunday schedule) so out the door of the hotel around 8:30.

A cab from downtown to the airport will be around $45 and take 20 min. door to door.

a few things to add. Make sure you buy a ticket for the light rail on the mezzanine level of westlake station. Its a proof-of-payment system, so you may not get checked, but if you do and dont have a valid ticket, they will pull you off the train and possibly give you a ticket. either way, you will be detained for 1 or 2 trains. the trains run every 8-15 minutes on the weekend.
