BOS - Balconies "on the hump"???

Recommended Posts

Am I correct that balconies near the elevators are larger. Is that what is meant by "on the hump". Does the close proximity to the elevators pose any disadvantages?

Thanks,

Marty

When you are looking at the Hump-Rooms in the Deck plans, it depends on which deck you are on about the balconies.

If you are looking at Deck 7, it won't matter where your room is, all balconies are about the same; and you have the dreaded "Overhang" that blocks your view of the ocean. It's not much better on the eighth deck either.

Once you are up to Deck 9 or 10, there is a big difference in the balconies on the Hump. Look closely at the deck plans for these and you'll see the rooms closest to the center of the Hump have HUGE balconies. Ours on the Radiance and on the Serenade had 2 lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs, a table, and still lots of room to move around.

HOpe this helps.
