Gibraltar Excursions

Recommended Posts

We spent the day in Gibraltar yesterday - trip by our local coach company and, although the journey took 3 hours each way at just €11 per person it was a great day out. Whilst in Gib I took the chance to discuss possible Rock Tours with the local authorised minibus tour company.

They would not give me a set price as they base all their itineraries on what the individual party wants to see. However, they gave me the following website address and said that they would respond with a quick/no obligation quote if anyone would like to contact them via the link http://www.gibraltarofficialtours.com/About-the-tours.html

I also spoke to some of the local taxi drivers who also offer more expensive but more personalised tours - including visits to sites missed by the tour companies such as the Trafalgar Cemetery. They told me the average price for 4 people is 100 to 140 Pounds (25-35 Pounds per person) depending on the length of tour (generally 2-3 hours). Taxis are prepared to pick you up at the ship if you pre.book.

Hope this may be of interest to some people on here.
