Braemar Questions

Is there a pool on board big enough to swim laps?

Is there an alternative restaurant for formal nights to avoid coat & tie?

Does FO really charge an extra fee to settle on board account with a credit card?

Thanks.

There are two pools, but both quite short, can't find the exact length, but I'd say around 20' or so.

Palms Cafe offers a casual dinning experience every night so that would be your best option on formal nights.

The credit card companies charge FO a percentage to process the credit cards and they pass that along, so yes, they do charge. Use a debit card to avoid this.

On all Fred. Olsen ships there is a 2% surcharge for the use of credit cards. As previously said, it is better to use a debit card as there is no surcharge. You will find fuller answers to your questions on the Fred. Olsen website and in their brochures.
