Charlotte Amalie,St.Thomas RCCL Oasis Beach,and Snorkeling

My friend going on the Oasis one of the places She is going is Charlotte Amalie,St.Thomas She want to do an excursion that has beach time and snorkeling and maybe snack and drinks but don't cost alot She thought of

Castaway Shipwreck Cove Sail and Snorkel - ST72 Caribbean Sea Safari, or Beach Snorkeling & Fun by Power Cat - STL5 anyone been on either one of these

Can't help with those tours but for an inexpensive beach day she could just taxi to a nice beach where you can get what you want and relax. Sapphire and Coki are best for snorkeling, Magens is a dead calm beach but not as pretty in our opinion and charges an entry fee. The food and drink options are better at Coki and Sapphire.

 

There are also operators like New Horizon out of the Sapphire Marina that sail to St John for snorkel stops off the boat that include drinks and lunch for $75pp + $20 taxi.

The Oasis docks at Crown Bay Pier and the closest beach is Emerald Beach which is very nice but poor for snorkeling. A taxi is around 5.00 p/p to the entrance of the Best Western Emerald Beach.

Beach is free but if you want a chair and will cost around 10.00, food and drinks at at the beach bar at the BW.
