new_to_cruising Posted June 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2013 My daughter and I are sailing on the Victory in just over a week. My BFF has asked if she can tag along. Is it possible to add a person to our stateroom after final payment? We are currently booked in Stateroom 1276 which is only for 2 guests. Maybe we could move to a different stateroom? Thanks in advance for the help'

K&P Luv2Cruise Posted June 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2013 My daughter and I are sailing on the Victory in just over a week. My BFF has asked if she can tag along. Is it possible to add a person to our stateroom after final payment? We are currently booked in Stateroom 1276 which is only for 2 guests. Maybe we could move to a different stateroom? Thanks in advance for the help' You would need a cabin that sleeps 3, and you would need to make sure that the ship is not under a capacity restriction. Call Carnival and see if they can do anything for you so that your BFF can join you and your daughter. Good Luck !
k2excursion Posted June 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2013 Because this is a high-demand summer cruise, it may be tough. The ship could be full. But it might still be possible. If there is a triple cabin available, you can switch to it. If it's a higher category, you will have to pay the difference in cost. One nice thing about Victory is that they have a limited number of trundle beds or rollaways available. They are assigned to certain rooms, which can turn a double into a triple. Your room is not one of the designated rooms that can take one of these, but if there is an available 2-person room that is designated to take a trundle/rollaway, you can switch to that. ccahope Posted June 26, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2013 I don't know the answer to this but I would appreciate it if you post the correct answer once you get it. I am scheduled on a cruise in December and it looks as though I may be expecting the same issue. Thanks
serene56 Posted June 26, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2013 IF you can add the third person look into moving into a cabin that hodls 3 people-- you do not want a roll away as it takes up precious floor space
wmowan8485 Posted June 26, 2013 #7 Share Posted June 26, 2013 Don't know for sure but I can't see Carnival turning down revenue! ;)
