Carriage Rides In Victoria

Recommended Posts

My parents and I will be arriving in Victoria at 6pm on the Norwegian Pearl in September and are thinking about taking the carriage rides, but were debating booking them on our own versus through the cruise ship. From what I can tell there are two companies who do the tours: 1) Victoria Carriage Tours and 2) Tally Ho Tours.

Is one better than the other? And what happens if the ship misses the port for whatever reason?

And will there still be enough daylight to see anything?

Both have been around for ages and are reputable vendors. They offer pretty much the same tours and the pricing is much the same. You will be running to twilight and darkness in September but Victoria becomes a sea of lights at night and is very beautiful. You would need to ask them about their cancellation policies.
